Overview

Luxor and around the city are home to some of Egypt’s most important
archaeological sites. Due to the importance and abundance of monuments
of ancient Egyptian architecture, tourism plays a major role in the city,
which is visited by hundreds of thousands of tourists a year.

What is included in the excursion programme?

• Departure from the hotel at about 04:00 (the exact time will be
  announced after booking; the road to Luxor is about 4 hours.
• Arrival in Luxor, Valley of the living: visit to Karnak temple
  (scarab beetle, sacred lake)
• Crossing the Nile by boat
• Lunch in a café on the banks of the Nile (buffet); Valley of the
  Dead: visiting the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut; Two huge statues
  of Amenhotep III — Colossi of Memnon; It is possible to visit the
  alabaster and oil factories;
• A trip to the Valley of the Kings; Boat trip to Banana Island
  optional, at an additional cost. Book and purchase directly from
  the guide on the bus (+€10)
• Departure from Luxor approximately at 17:00–18:00;
• Arrival at the hotel is around 22:00. *The order of the program may
