Day 01: Welcome to Enchanting Cairo

When you arrive for your Cairo and Dahabiya Nile cruise adventure, our representative will meet you at the airport and escort you to the prestigious Le Méridien Pyramids Hotel & Spa for a refreshing "welcome" drink and a hassle-free check-in. Afterward, our tour consultant will discuss your itinerary and confirm pick-up times for various tours and transfers. Once all details are clear, you will have the remainder of the day to yourself.

Day 02: Experience Cairo

Following breakfast, join your guide and driver for a full day of sightseeing. Start at the Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, and the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, along with the Sphinx. Next, visit the Egyptian Museum, housing over 120,000 artifacts, including the treasures of King Tutankhamen and statues of Akhenaten.

The tour continues in Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, located on top of the Fortress of Babylon. End the day with a visit to the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar in the Islamic district. Finally, head back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 03: Fly to Luxor and Lose Yourself

Day three starts with a transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, meet your Egyptologist guide and driver for a tour of Karnak Temple, the largest place of worship ever built, dedicated to Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.

After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Valley of the Kings, home to magnificent tombs carved into the rock, and conclude with the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahary, a masterpiece of ancient architecture. Transfer to Esna to board your Dahabiya river boat for the night.

Day 04: Cruise to Esna and on to the Speos of Hormoheb

Set sail from Esna to Edfu where you will disembark for a horse carriage ride to the Temple of Horus. Afterward, visit the Edfu souk for shopping or sightseeing. Later, continue to the Speos of Hormoheb for dinner on-site, with the illuminated structure as a backdrop. Spend the night aboard the Dahabiya.

Day 05: Cruising the Nile River

Sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple of Sobek, a unique complex featuring two identical temples dedicated to different gods. Afterward, continue to a small Nile River island for dinner, situated just a short distance from Aswan. Spend the night on the Dahabiya.

Day 06: Aswan Sightseeing
